Ethical Investor's ninth annual Australian Sustainability Awards were announced on 9 December 2009. AJ Lucas received the Special Award for Infrastructure, sponsored by Evans & Peck recognising the company's environmentally beneficial technologies, particularly in energy and water infrastructure.
